Mimi's Groovin' Granny is all excited about the birth of her first granddaughter! She's on her way to the hospital with a teddy bear, her bag of knitting (on miniature knitting needles), her shopping bag full of gifts, and her "It's a Girl" balloon.

The body is muslin. The face can be needle modeled or made in silk over a cast polyurethane form.

The pattern includes a sweat shirt ("I'm not getting older, I'm getting better"), slacks and boots. For the more adventurous, there are complete instructions for the hand-made, cable-knit sweater.
