- These dolls are made from different fabrics, from cellulose or polymer clay, or from fabric over cast polyurethane face masks.
- Open Edition dolls, when available, are priced from $395 to $995.
- The original collector commissioning an Open Edition doll may specify skin, eye, and hair color, and costume theme colors.

Limited Edition Dolls
- Mimi makes Limited Edition dolls from some of her own patterns.
- These dolls are made from different materials than her pattern suggests (usually UltraSuede™ or Facile). These materials are extremely difficult to work with, and usually have a skin-like appearance and feel.
- Limited Editions include ten to twelve dolls in each edition, made over a period of years.
- Limited Edition dolls, when available, are priced from $395 to $795.
- The original collector commissioning a Limited Edition doll may specify skin, eye, and hair color, and costume theme colors.
