Mimi's Jazz
|
Jazz is a 16-inch tall, stand alone doll with a young, full-figured,
anatomically proportioned body.
This pattern teaches you how to make my new modular armature. With the modular armature, and paperclay-covered shoes, Jazz can stand alone. The pattern includes complete instructions for needle-modeling a pretty face and body. This is a beautiful doll that I have enjoyed designing. I think you will like all the options.
|
You have a choice of three faces:
- a very easy traced face, embroidered or colored with pencils and/or crayons
- a trapunto (quilted) face
- a sophisticated needle-modeled face
Jazz wears fishnet tights, a leotard, a tail coat and a top hat. You can make her more daring by using only the tails of the coat and a special set of sleeves. Instructions are included for a gorgeous, regal cape and hat. You can make her even more exotic with a feathered, fantasy costume so she can dance "The Firebird."
Jazz is blessed with a wonderful body that you won't want to cover up with a lot of clothes. Her hair can be made from either wefted mohair or from textured yarn. Instructions for cleaning and wefting mohair are included.
The costumes shown below on the Jazz body are not included
in the pattern. They are just to give you an idea what else you can do
with this doll.
Full-sized, cut-out patterns and 56-page instruction book filled with pictures,
drawings, and hints for dollmakers.
This pattern can be used for any young, full figured, anatomically proportioned,
female character doll.
You are licensed to sell dolls made from this pattern.
