Mimi's Dollmaker's Paradise has been designed for use with most popular World Wide Web browsers. It has been tested with the following hardware/operating system/browser combinations:

• PC, Windows 3.11, Netscape Navigator 1.2 - 3.0
• PC, Windows 3.11, Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0
• PC, Windows 95/98, Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0 - 5.0
• PC, Windows 95/98, Netscape Navigator (all Windows 95/98 versions through 4.06)
• PC, Windows NT, Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0 - 5.0
• PC, Windows NT, Netscape Navigator (all Windows NT versions through 4.06)

In addition, while we have not tested specifically with these combinations, we believe Mimi's Dollmaker's Paradise will also display properly with the following hardware/operating system/browser combinations:

• Macintosh, MAC-OS, Netscape Navigator 2.0 - 3.0
• Macintosh, MAC-OS, Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0
• UNIX based computers, Netscape Navigator 2.0 and 3.0
• PC, Windows 3.11, AOL Browser (current version for Windows 3.11)
• PC, Windows 95/98, AOL Browser (current version for Windows 95/98)
• Macintosh, AOL Browser (current version for MAC-OS)

• Colors are Terrible (1)

  Almost all computers sold within the last four years have the capability to display 16 million colors. Unfortunately, many of these computers were shipped with only 256 colors enabled. Mimi's Dollmaker's Paradise looks better when displayed with 15,000 or 32,000 colors (hi-color 15bit or 16 bit setting). To solve this problem, refer to the documentation that came with your computer and change the display setting to hi-color or true color (16 million).

• Colors are Terrible (2)

  If you are viewing the site on a Macintosh, your monitor's gamma setting is different from the setting used for PCs. There is not much we (or you) can do about this.

• Multiple Views or Multiple Versions of Dolls Do Not Appear

  In Netscape 1.2 and some other older browsers, the rotating views in the doll gallery will show only the first picture. Older browsers do not support the GIF89a animation standard, and we can only recommend that you obtain a newer browser.

  If you are using a text-only browser, or browsing with graphic images turned off, you will find descriptions of each image. However, because you will miss seeing the pictures of wonderful dolls, we strongly suggest that you use a browser capable of displaying images and browse with the image display turned on.

• Format of Site is Distorted

  If you are using a really old browser that does not support tables, Mimi's Dollmaker's Paradise will probably appear pretty strange. In this case, we recommend that you obtain a newer browser.

• Funny Symbols ( , —, =20, etc.) Appear

  Some older browsers do not recognize special character codes. Some browsers on the Macintosh or on UNIX systems have a different character set and show different characters than intended. In this case, we recommend that you obtain a newer browser.

You can obtain the latest versions of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer by downloading over the Internet. The buttons below will connect you to the Netscape and Microsoft web sites to download a copy. Both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer are free to all users.

You can obtain the latest version of the AOL browser from AOL by following the procedures recommended by AOL. The AOL browser is free to all AOL customers.
